Howard the duck review

This my first attempt at a film review so here goes,

My first film I'm reviewing and watching is Howard the Duck. An interesting choice of first film to review. Made by George Lucas all the way back in 1986, Howard the Duck is the first marvel film.
Based on the "not so famous" marvel comics, Howard is sent to Earth throwing him  through an adventure you'll never forget. That's the bad part though: Howard the duck is famous but not always for the right reasons.

Many, Including George himself, thought the adventure of the super hero duck would be a success. After the success from George Lucas with Star Wars, he thought he'd be rich (he already was but,  still), but actually he almost was bankrupt from the failure of the duck.

It still did have some exciting and fun scenes like an exhilarating car chase but the sense of excitement only lasted until you reminded yourself that a load of highly skilled, fully grown police officers were chasing a duck.

For me the moral of the story is just because there's stunts chases and a massive amount of money has been thrown at it, doesn't mean that its
a block buster.
